Halima - The Pharaoh's Curse

Remember when I said I had a new story idea? The story is called "The Pharaoh's Curse". And this character is a part of it! Her name is Halima ( Holly-Ma/Egyptian for "Gentle") 


The story is basically "Beauty and The Beast" in Egypt. The prologue of the story begins with the Pharaoh Teremun. He is the ruler of a local kingdom, but he's not a very good leader though. He was very arrogant and greedy, he neglected his responsibilities as a ruler and treated his people poorly. The gods were not happy with his behavior and decided to punish him by turning his servants into animals and him into a hideous version of his former self. The gods told him if he ever wanted him and his servants to be turned back to normal, someone adorned in red gems (because red is the color of love to the gods) must fall in love in with him despite his looks.



Halima is one of Teremun's main servants. She is very sweet, kind and humble. She has been a close friends with him since childhood (Even if he drove her crazy once in a while). She also has romantic feelings towards him and wishes that they could be together, but she dares not reveal her feelings for him, fearing that both of their hearts will be broken. Halima is so close to Teremun that she is the first person that Teremun calls for when he's upset and needs comfort. Despite her loyalties to Teremun, her mother Fukayna, is always bugging Halima to leave the temple with her and never come back. But Hali ignores her, because she doesn't want to abandon Teremun's side.
